here's the poster:http://www.impawards.com/2008/iron_man_xlg.html
(sorry for the big picture)
That's all I can say.
I just hope they can keep Ironman from looking goofy in live action.
Hate to burst your bubble, but thats old. I think it's been posted here before too. I have modified an image like that one for my background. Pretty sure it's the same artist.
That modern look has really grown on me
Yes, it's the same artist. His name is Adi Granov. he changed his site and it doesn't have everything on it anymore but http://www.adigranov.net/ if you want to see more, go to http://www.archive.org/index.php and type http://www.sofos.com/adi/ in the search box. it'll bring up most of the old site.
The image you have is a cmopletely different piece of artwork. I can't remember where it's from but gimmie a sec...cover volume 3, issue 81. The poster was a teaser that was handed out at Sad Diego con and Wizard Chicago last summer. Also, the movie logo has been released and is my sig right now.
I hope the have the old 60's Ironman cartoon theme song.
Thanks for the link Wreckgar... I love the look of his stuff. I think I've got about half of those on his front page. I especially love the one on Execute Program 6 I think with the Hulkbuster suit towering over him.
I've only gotten into Iron Man in the last few months... started with the Hulkbuster Iron Man ML. I've been picking up stuff ever since.
Really psyched about the movie. I don't even know what to expect. I've enjoyed about every marvel movie that's come out in the last few years (haven't seen Daredevil or Elektra....... but I will give them a chance).
Pass on electra, trust me.
Made sure to hide your important "folders" before sharing this, right?
You had to be part of that Fark.com thread to get this...
Not bad... for IGN's pic of Villan of the Year...
That this is not likely to be what IM looks like. In fact, my inside sources say this is the initial design:
Of course this is just a prototype, and may not reflect the final look for the film.
Picked up that poster at Wizard World Chicago last summer
Agreed. It's one of the very few comic movies I consider horrible (and I found redeeming things about Catwoman).
That'd be great. And why not, they worked in the 60s Spider-Man song into his movie.
Dude, Adi's art is fantastic.
Launching in 2008, huh? Looks like there's still a chance for comic Tony to have his butt handled by either Spidey or the Hulk in 2007 then!
Separate names with a comma.
