Maybe he got shot in the eye or someone tried to poke out his eyes.

Stop taking everything bad from a thread and post it, Instead of bitching share your knowledge of Transformers...

And you always add sarcasm to each one of your posts

I never noticed his bad eye before either. I mean the first Bayformers didn't have any extreme close ups of Ironhide of this quality, plus with over complication of his his face, I'm thinking a lot of people missed it.

People miss things. I didn't know until I saw the recent high-res renders either. It's nothing to jump down someone's throat about.

I noticed a while ago the damage on Ironhide's face. Was hard to notice initially til i noticed one optic didn't glow as bright as they other and took a better look.

In his protoform too they pointed out (by the animations/designers) that part of his right ankle was broken and slipping outta place. You can see it in the pool scene when he climbs out.

I noticed it about the 20th time I saw the movie. It's an old tv, movie and cartoon cliche. The rough and tumble veteran character is either missing an eye, or has a big wicked scar across his eye, or both. It symbolizes experience, pain, struggle, victory. It's a bit overused, IMO.

    Ironhide
    Ratchet (Animated human form)
    Colonel Tigh in BSG
    Locke in Lost
    etc.etc.etc.

LOL! I've seen TF1 numerous times and never noticed Ironhide's bad eye. But this brings up another question: just what does Ratchet do with all of his time?

What kind of medic is Ratchet if he can't fix/replace BB's vocalizer or repair Ironhide's old wounds. It's not as if his eye looks damaged, just dented in as if Megatron popped him one in the face. They really make Ratchet look useless in the movie with this kind of stuff.
