This is my take on a Universe Diaclone Ironhide. I tried to do it in a Diaclone style. I did not get my real Diaclone Ironhide till yesterday. So I broke out the camera and snapped a few pics. I might do another one just b/c I could do a better job (I think). I am disappointed in the toy from Hasbro they could have done a much, much better job. Let me know what you think.
I think you did a great job on this. I really dig the way you transformed the lower legs/feet. The paint job looks great......and unlike the old school Diaclone, yours actually has a head!
I came ** this close to omitting the head. I was going to cut the head post off and put a stupid face sticker off a G1 on the rear head plate. Maybe on the next one. I thought it would be hilarious.
Great work. I kind of think the head would look better in red just to have more color on him or maybe a red face since IH already has a red head
This looks really nice! I always enjoy a Diaclone custom This, or you could add a few red details to the head Again, great work
Sweet job man, I'm starting to wonder now how many other diaclone figures could be bashed from these classics. You made a mold I'm not a fan of look really good. As regard the head, you had said you had thought about cutting off the head, well first I was hmmm... then I was ummm... finally I was yum! I dunno man, ya might have something there, as there's nothing to say he 'has' to have a head. But red on the face would be awesome too. It would make it even more balanced I'd say.
I might hit up WalMart today and buy another one it was only 7 dollars so how could I go wrong. I think the next one will be better I learned a few tricks that I might apply. I cant resist the thought of putting a sticker on for a head. There are reasons I left some portions of the toy red. To be true to the original. I wish I could chrome some of the plastic then it would really stand out.
errr.... Just a guess, but I'd go with "all the ones that were diaclones before Transformers were invented" The cool thing is we're not far off from havin' all the molds available now
