I'm sure I'm not the only one who thought of this but here's my hand at this. Specialist Ratchet is a really good base for this, hardly had to do anything to it. Here's what I did in a nutshell: - removed the rack and front cage parts - Gave him a head from an older Ironhide custom I did (which was originally from Energon Inferno, modified) - Sawed his roof in half to give him a more Ironhide-y chest. It's a parts-former piece now but I figure that's ok with me. - Put a pin in to help secure that tailgate piece that keeps falling off Not sure if I'll paint him yet or not, or what weapons he might have... "Your days are numbered now, Decepticreeps!"
Not bad reminds me of Ultra-Man nice work. Also you don't have to paint in my oppinion it looks good already.
That looks great! I think it is a neat use of the mold, and the chest modification really sells it visually as Ironhide.
The head's a bit large for the body, in my opinion. Aaaaalso, there's the minor issue of him having high-heels.
