I finally got that "prototype" iron man I wanted to get, but I literally blew out one LED, snapped the leg off another, and the 3rd turned out to be green, so I pulled this one out of an NES... (poor NES) and as you can see it works!

this is the first time I have ever opened up an action figure (they dont have screws like TFs do), and it is also my first time ever hooking up an electrical...thingy inside of an action figure, and I'd have to say, I'm petty happy about the results!

As for my repaint, I was thinking of this:

I'm thinking, gold, gloss black, drybrushed gunmetal with transparant tamiya smoke ontop, then some red accents to match the red LED

but as for the cape... im still bewildered as to where to get one for this AND my shadow prime repaint

Radio shack sells LEDs for $1.00 each, Dollar store usually has about 50 different toys with LEDs in them.

It's better and easier to buy an LED with the switch and battery pack compact and ready to go, than to solder the light system yourself.

Looking good though, at least you got good experience doing that now.
