I know this isn't a transformer but figured i would show a mod in the works for iron man. basically i gutted his electronics and installed leds. Once the weather warms up a little bit can put him in the paint booth and get a new paint job. something a little more weathered and even.

    anyway. constructive comments always welcome.

it seems kinda dim but it could be the lighting.

Cool, are you planning on adding articulation to it?

Actually the head is an issue with this figure. the head is a solid soft plastic like leader primes smoke stacks. So the led is in the ball at the top of the neck. Since my last post i was able to work a light pipe for the eyes. uploaded a better pic in my original post.

as for guns. right now i'm looking for more of a movie look. but he did come with some bigger guns. I may look into working with them at a later date.

I may look into the arms as they don't have much articulation.
but on the list is lighting a repulsor in his hand and giving led's in his feet for a flying pose.

well. after breaking the legs and arms from a couple of these i have postponed the leg and arm mods. but it has been nice the past few weeks so figured he should hit the paint booth. i uploaded an updated pic in my original post. so far the primary coat is done. the dry brush almost complete.

He looks great! You said you gutted the original electronics, what figure was he to begin with? The 10 inch one?

Thanks. :)  It is the 10" Repulsor Power Iron Man. Still working out the details for more lighting as they super glued several pegs inside the arms and legs.
