Non-TF: Iron Man Mark II and proof that you can dry brush Alclad II!

    I settled on a repulsor beam mark III figure since I couldn't find the mark II, nor snap-on armor version...then i got the thinking... 'that's a really ugly detachable weapon that I'll never use... I might as well practice painting on it'

    so I did. and it was mediocre, but passable for chrome.

    then I somehow perfected my technique (well at least close enough to perfect without having to buy an airbrush)

    using nothing but two paint brushes...well actually one was a water color brush, "iron man lives again"

    and btw its still a wip if you didn't notice...altho come to think of it, with a retooled chest, a chrome war machine wouldnt look too bad

    Its because your tags said attach instead of att. :)  fixed. nice job so far.

    Alclad II is great stuff. You might want to protective coat it...it's very fragile. Future works great on it, in fact it's the only thing I've found that can cover it and keep the shine.

    and tony, ur mark 1 is pretty much exactly what I had in mind for my custom! nice.
