To the few who like the band, I salute you.

This is my first time posting a random story.

Went to see them on Wednesday in San Antonio. I've seen them quite a few times, but this was hands-down the best.

But when I got to San Antonio, my buddy who works at a military base, asked me to park my car in the base, and he would drop me off after the concert.

So we're off to see Maiden... Old School or not, these guys know how to put on a show. After the Concert, we had this hair brain Idea to go watch the Midnight showing of Indy. I have to be in Austin at work at 7AM, so I was not so sure, but beer and Maiden convinced me, so we go watch Indy, and my friend's Wife is calling and calling, and we leave 5 minutes before the movie ends.

He can't drop me off at the base because he might find himself locked out, so my other friend takes me, and the gate to the base is locked. Ft Sam Houston is pretty big, so we have to drive around to the main gate and convince the guard that we are only there for my car. The Maiden shirts convinced him of our story, and now we have to find the place I parked within the base. Finally find it and head home to Austin around 3AM, hit a HUGE storm in San Marcos, and end up in Austin at around 530AM to turn around and go to work at 7... GOOD TIMES, but I didn't sleep for over 2 days... fortune and Maiden, kid, fortune and Maiden.

I'd love to see them if they ever come within driving distance of me and by that I mean 3 hours or less.

I saw Iron Maiden At the Joe Luis Arena during their Seventh Son of a Seventh Son tour. The inflatable hands and crystal ball were enough to make Spinal Tap jealous. Great show.

Maiden has one of the best bassist, 2 of the best guitarists, and 2 of the best drummers to ever play hands down!!

Clive burr their original drummer was insane and the 2nd guy is just as good!
Dave Murray and Adrian SMith are AWESOME!!!
and Steve Harris is fucking AMAZING TOO!!!

I want to seem them one day!!

Oh yea, and Bruce Dickinson is a fantastic lead singer!!!!!

I used to be obsessed with Maiden. They were the only band I listened to in the late 80's. Their new stuff is hit or miss & I totally hated their last album.

I've only listened to Bruce Maiden. (I loved Brave New World and dug on at least half of Life and Death.) Blaze Maiden can take a running jump, although the original dude may have been good from what I hear.

Anyway I'm going to see them next Thursday. Cannot fuckin' wait.

While Blaze (their singer when Bruce left) wasn't great, their music did not change (though Virtual XII sucked a bit). But X Factor was one of the Darkest Maiden Albums and had some amazing songs. And now hearing Bruce sing them is Sweet Candy.
