    good morning..

this is my simple iron hide deluxe custom. legs and arms is more higher so the scale is same as crowbar and crankcase when robot mode (stand, iron hide more higher). main purpose is 4 character all in one scale at mexican standoff.

and i added new ball joint and hinge at heel and elbow. there's two big gun which attach at back.

    please your suggestion

Really good mod work but the deluxe Ironhide already had the most accurate body proportions of any movie Ironhide figure. Although he may size up better with Crankcase now, the much less accurate legs do not seem like a good trade off to me.
I haven't heard of a Crowbar figure in scale with deluxe Crankcase either. Maybe I missed something though on that.

Maybe the Voyager would be better for you, the proportions look a bit off here, no offence.

Love the great work you've put into this - but I agree with Unicron-9 here...
But the Arm Mod is not bad at all - with the exception that the guns no longer fit into the cab, they may be most accurate (proportion-wise) this character ever had in a figure!

Aside from him just being overall too small, he is very well proportioned out of the box. He just needs a slightly larger head. In the movies, it sticks up above his fenders. None of the toys do.

I wish the DotM Ironhide had just been a scaled up deluxe. Instead we get the truck with the holes in the bed.

I went back and forth about rather to get a deluxe or voyager Ironhide just for that reason. The deluxe looks more stocky and better proportions and doesn't have the daddy longlegs look that the voyager does. I opted for the Voyager just to keep the scale in vehicle mode correct. Leader Prime, Voyager Ironhide, deluxe Bumblebee in vehicle mode is just about right where they should be. The only thing about trying to go by actual scale of the movies is that the decepticons are bigger and are planes and things, which automatically makes me have to go Leader on them just to have Starscream be the correct plane size in proportion to the Prime and the autobots.

thank's, i've survey many molds and scale (deluxe or voy) of iron hide before i buy it, then i decide deluxe rotf is most perfect transform path and good robot mode.

i have been studying autobots scale.. correct scale is: this iron hide, OP voyager rotf, ratchet dotm deluxe, crankcase deluxe, starscream leader (f22 raptor must bigger like that), leader jetfire, skid mudflap cyberverse.

Any of the voyager Ironhides are way too tiny in both modes for leader Optimus, especially vehicle mode. Ironhide is just as big and bulky as Optimus, just two thirds his height.

The best match is definitely voyager 'Battle Blades' Optimus, deluxe Ironhide, DOTM deluxe Ratchet and then scout-sized cars in my opinion. There's also a lot of Decepticons that fit nicely with them as well, like deluxe Crankcase and Wreckage and voyager Bludgeon and ROTF Megatron. I don't think there's never going to be a Starscream that's the right size in both modes, he has to fold up and compact a lot in robot mode and none of the toys do that.

The thing that irks me about using the Voyager Prime is that as a semi-truck, he's too small next to Ironhide and Bumblebee in their truck and car modes respectively. Standing straight up in robot mode, Voyager Ironhide is roughly the right height but I do agree he should be way bulkier. I was just watching DOTM the other day and he's freaking bulky as heck.

Looks real good to me! :thumb

Nah, he didn't. Ironhide looks squat in most scenes, but when you look at his character model, you'll realize the changes made here make him more accurate. Only thing it needs now is the DOTM voyager head, and the proportions will be spot on.
