Received sets A and C in the mail today and have had time to have a bit of a mess with them while working.

    • Overall I'm quite impressed with the fit and finish of all figures. Not-Brawl is perhaps slightly too tight in areas, and for the life of me I can't get his legs to line up flush with his body. Otherwise, no complaints. After having a less than thrilling experience with AlienAttack Firage recently in this regard, this is something that is important to me.
    • I'm thrilled at the amount of accessories these come with.
    • They're all quite characterful little figures with excellent posing options for any scale, let alone legends/scout.
    • The transformations on Not-Brawl and Not-Swindle are more interesting to me than their larger Combiner Wars counterparts.
    • Not super thrilled at partsforming the roof rack on Not-Swindle, and I know that the low point of this set will be partsforming the cockpit/gun on Not-Vortex.

I've preordered Set B from a local 3P merchant who has advised me he won't have stock til after CNY. I'll keep my preorder, but I'm very jealous of the rest of you.

I'd be keen to keep collecting gestalts at this size point and in this modern IDW-ish aesthetic. I'm reminded pleasantly of the (admittedly slightly larger) FansProject Stunticons. Would like to see IF's take on the Stunticons and Aerialbots at this size.

I agree! Waiting for the first Autobot combiner in this size! I think IF would do Computron especially well, but Aerialbots would be really cool too.

Sigh, i missed out on the entire set, i really like IF, but the entire set cost woulda blown my early 2018 preorder budget out, as i have IF Lord scorpion, GP Graviter, and some non TF figures on the way now. I went ahead and bought MP Sunstreaker after I posted a thread asking about MP vs 3rd party.

Here's hoping for a rerelease in a full set like the dinobots someday in the future.

Not sure why ToyerCity still does not have this in stock.

The full set of War Giant is still in stock, but orders need to be in and paid in the next day or two to make the cut off for most China sellers because of the upcoming holiday.

While I love IF and I think the look of these is awesome - I was kind of turned off of IF's bigger figures (including combiners) after I picked up their scorponok. I just felt that his relative size compared to the rest of their figures was just way too small. He should be massive compared to the regular figures. Personally, I've already got so many Bruticai that I've needed to hold off.

Haven't heard or seen anything bad about this set though. Happy for those that have picked him up!

But in the source material IF draws from, he isn't super massive. He's just big.

Scorponok's size seems to vary depending on movie/comics.

I believe it was Marvel who first put Scorponok in comics as a non-city bot. That seems to have been picked up by IDW also.

I am just guessing this will be available after CNY for Toyercity. I Could not pass up the $150 with EMS shipping price tag.

Agreed, Gunpla. That price was hella-good :D  And yes, odds are Toyer will be getting this after CNY.

I’m with you on this. It’s not about his scale but their skorponok just plain isn’t fun to me, to the point that I kinda want it outta my collection. Ultra magnus? Sublime. Overlord? Definitive for the scale.
    skorponok? Meh.

In regards to swindles roof rack I just left mine in the box it's only really for the bust and he can still peg the guns into the roof with out it. Just depends on how you like the look of the alt mode

Yep. Even in the new comics, and in the flash back scene(s), he’s still drawn quite “normal” sized (still a big bot)
