I bet you once the whole set is complete, Baba from eBay will have the whole shebang available for 160 shipped. You apply 5 dollars off 120 and wait for 15 dollars flash sale, and you can get this for 140. That's what I am going to do.

$60 per set isn't bad at all. From a reputable seller - let us know how it goes?

I've got them available and in stock now however they are a touch more expensive (also shipping included). Not sure why the cost is higher on these.

I don't like to pre-order based on Cost + Unknown Shipping since shipping can sometimes be very very expensive.

I agree that it seems like IF is kind of price goughing on this one. Their bots are really cool and well made - but I'm not sure it's worth the money vs. what I'd pay for a cheaper MP bot like Open Plan Springer isn't that much more (plus I dig the MP scale more).

Cool for those that are in on this set - just probably won't add them to my collection until I see how they turn out down the line... I'd expect some sales on these down the line...

What he said. ActionRobo is great but you're not paying $160.00, you're paying that plus shipping, which won't be cheap. I'm quite sure I can get the same or better price on eBay with free shipping. Could probably get it even cheaper on Taobao but I don't really feel like getting a PhD in Chinese Internet Retail Administration.

I'll update but not worried at all. I've bought from clothing.2009 many times, and she has like 3K positive reviews. She's never failed.

I agree that as more time goes by and more sellers get these in stock the price will likely come down a bit. My seller was the most reputable with the lowest price. Bababobo has these also but at $65.99 he's not yet competitive. I observed that when BC released their Huff V2 and Piper his prices were initially high and he eventually came down as other sellers cropped up. Netclow doesn't have these yet that I've seen but when he does I expect him to list at $60 shipped, and bababobo will probably follow suit. I will say that from what I see on eBay IF prices don't get shaved down all that much, about $10 less than NA retail is pretty typical. But when you're buying multiple releases it adds up, especially since it's hard to get free shipping in NA.

I'm wondering if the absence of preorders on my usual retailer of choice (Kapow) is uneasiness over the MSRP for these sets? They have the Lambros up for order at roughly the same price as anywhere else but they sold Bridgewatcher and the Seekers at a couple of quid below the MSRP so I just wonder about this lot, and the generally bad reaction to price.

I'm also wondering if a Giftset will follow and prove to be far better value too.

It's got be something like an absence of preorders; the whole set seems like it was finished back around TFCon Toronto(?) I think. But they seem to keep pushing the release date back like they did with their Dynobot set. I guess to be fair maybe the logistics with a combiner are just a lot harder; especially since they do not seem to be using a universal combination? Hopefully this isn't holding up production of the Lambros. The Dai Atlas project seems to fallen by wayside too.

Yeah something is definitely up with Dai Atlas and their schedule. BBTS once had that listed at 1st/2nd quarter this year. Delays are hardly unknown in 3P Land but Iron Factory have a good history of staying to plan with Single-Bot releases, less good with Multi-sets like the Dynabots.

I'm getting this set either way, but a box set would be so nice.

Is it possible they held releasing Attackers until the other two sets were closer to being ready? Everyone hates waiting for all members of a team to get released.

Surprisingly Action Robo's shipping out Attacker sets of full team pre-orders. Mine went out on Saturday with about $3 in shipping.

That seems like good news! I rather have Attackers in hand than wait if there is going to be a delay.

TCP has the first pair in stock today. Surprised it beat out the Coneheads. Maybe Acidstorm delayed them as they do seeker repaints first before switching to Coneheads?

TFSource got their set too! Still no Mech Planet Ironhide though.

It is weird Attackers leap-frogged the Coneheads, but I am not complaining. Swindle is a favorite, and I have been waiting for this since the displayed his prototype last year with Six Shot.

So Paik is the official video manual guy for iron factory as well now? Awesome! I struggled for quite a while trying to get brawl's legs back out from alt mode, this video is a real life saver. Thanks!!

That's rad, but SwagWave SM would've done some sick stop motion stuff.

Possibly. Just trying something out with them. We’ll see if it continues.

Congrats P4L... I just hope they don't put some hexagonal pegs and holes on the figures. :)
