IF is better than DX9, so I don't even consider their offerings as legitimate. I want IF to do everything, we still need Kup, Galvatron, Blurr, Ratchet, etc. IF is better by leaps and bounds in both design and quality, DX9 doesn't come close.

 

Yeah, but the Seekers are two totally different aesthetics, one is IDW and the other one is pure G1

 

While both versions look great in robot mode, the DX9 Seekers manage to hide the arms in alt mode. Some deluxes don't even do that, so to see it in legends scale is great.

Dai Atlas looks cool so far, though. Did IDW ever show the alt mode?

 

Noted but those aesthetics are not all that different in most cases and less prominent at legends scale.

 

I'm just gonna get them both.

Dai Atlus' blaster was playable in Devastation. It's a unique design and something I associate with the character. It's absence is my only complaint. Looks great otherwise.

I hope we'll be able to fan-mode a decent base mode for him. I realize he might not have turned into a base in IDW, but since the original figure could, and he's about the same size as IF Skorponok who DOES have a base mode, it would be nice to for this guy as well, just to have that symmetry across factions.

Another thing i'm noticing, it looks like he has tank treads peeking out from behind his legs?

 

Wait it was? Man that game had more content than I thought.

 

This is cool. Dai Atlas is one of my favorite designs of the Japanese G1 characters, so it's nice to see something approximating it in some fashion is showing up.

I didn't even realize this was shown off last year. Unless I missed something else (possible), hopefully this means things like Star Saber and Deathsaurus can show up at some point, though ideally without as long a delay as what's apparently happened here.

 

I need to catch up on all IF releases I missed.
