What version of Jazz is this? He doesn’t look like anything I remember and I even googled a bit to try to match designs. And I couldn’t find any.

The IF stuff is usually IDW inspired. The characters are drawn differently depending on the book, so I'm not sure if this is 100% faithful to any one particular IDW Jazz, but that's typically the source they start with.

Oh yes. I know. I love IDW. That’s what I meant.

I can’t remember any design he had in the IDW run that looked like this. I even googled Dreamwave versions and couldn’t really find a match.

Love the Lambros overall, but as for Jazz, I think I'll wait to see what DX9 or Magic Toys do (if they do anything, which I hope they do), as this design just isn't revving my engine.

Though I love Jazz and Iron Factory, this design does seem a bit odd. I'll keep an open mind about it though, given my love for the other figures in this line. It might improve when colored, or if some more iterating is done on the mold.

Cool, it will be interesting to see how this shapes up.

I just like the chibi, chunky style of IF's offerings- I think it suits the scale better than DX9's stuff does. I don't care what continuity it's inspired by- as long as I like the way it looks.

The hips look a bit clunky, but maybe forgivable if alt-mode and paint are nice. Maybe tomorrow we will get glimpse of the Porsche mode. Or a few more photos. A close up of the face would be be cool.

Look at the coloring of the card behind him.

    White with Blue/Red racing stripes.

Also he has speakers sticking over his shoulders.

    It's Jazz.

I don't know, the place card is in Jazz colors. Maybe Rapido is the intended use of the mold? Like they are borrowing a page from Hasbro's book and releasing the remold first.

EDIT: Though my prefered choice for a remold would be Jackpot.

Between MS-Toys, UT Toys and Iron Factory there is going to a lot of legends added to people's shelves next year.
It's kinda amazing it has taken this long for someone to tackle Jazz.
