I hope not. I was a little annoyed when they did it for Elita-1. It was the third use of the mold so I was ok skipping it. I have the Hastak Shockwave so it isn't the end of the world if bundling is only way to get Bridgewatcher. Just obnoxious.

Hoping since Shockwave has his own EX number he will be an individual release. But all the seekers are sub-numbers of Starscream, I could see Skywarp being a pre-order bonus since he is EX20V or maybe a Acid Rain or Sunstorm. They both appeared in IDW comics.

Oh I totally hope they offer him separately as well, but bundling him would help ease the sure-to-be high cost of the Bruticus set.

Yeah, that would be sensible. I usually feel pretty good with IF's prices. I think their Dynobots was the first set to give me sticker shock. I'm glad they dropped the price. I usually feel like I get a good deal; either they pack the sets full of accessories or the figure is a priced pretty low for a 3P like Arcee, Overlord or Blitzwing.

Looking at the size of him. I think twenty-five or thirty for a stand alone. It'll probably work out fine.

It looks like IF will produce the entire cast of Spotlight: Shockwave. And a good chunk of the Maximum Dinobots.

I think I'll have to sell my mp's to afford all of these Iron Factory bots. A year ago I never would had even considered this to be a reality, but here we are.

I'm assuming this will be a set with everyone in it like The Dynobots.

I forgot the Dynobots were actually EX6 through EX10. It throws me because the Datsuns were only EX12 and not individual numbers.

Whether or not this comes with Bruticus means little to me as I am getting all IF stuff that's available. This totally outdoes the official Legends figure, the design is just so much better. That and I honestly hate official stuff because it's always subpar. imo

Dont they always? I mean, it's always BBTS or TFSource anyways.

That's disappointing. Considering how much Blizzard, Evil Lord, Black Shadow and City Commander were selling for on BBTS & TFSource it seems like price gouging. Unless there has been a change in the value of the dollar since the election? I know stock prices had bounced around. It seems way too much for a single figure about the size of their Datsun figures with very few accessories.

As much as I like Iron Factory, I'm finding myself disappointed in them for their theft of Quakewave's handle gimmick. I didn't care for it in Quakeblast, and I don't care for it here, especially since the guys at Iron Factory of all people have the skill to figure out original and creative engineering.

As much as I regret it, my sensibilities are telling me I have to pass on this.

    Why?

    Seriously, that makes no sense.

I'm not trying to be rude, but that just seems like a silly reason to not pick this guy up if you want him.

Like I said, because of my sensibilities. Had they done the handle gimmick a different way, I'd applaud their ingenuity. But as it is, it's so close to Quakewave's that I consider it to be dangerously close to KO territory, at least as far as that particular engineering.

I'm not going into KO vs 3P, just suffice it to say I make a distinction between the two.

Well to be honest, there's only so many ways to transform the same character into the same alt mode, so similar transformations should be a given. *shrug*

By no means am I trying to talk you into buying the figure though as I have my own reasons, (namely the price), for not buying this guy.

Engineering aside the look does not physically look anything like quakewave. As robogeek said "there is only so many ways to transform him" now days. To think they stole the engineering though is kinda wrong.. everyone has made it in a way they think is better. warbo attempted it their way to make a shockwave and that sorta debunked. ko territory is no way to compare legends with Mp scales
