Am I the only one who thinks that Iridescent was played way too much during the movie? Especially the beginning (of the song) during the Chicago battle.

Yeah, I think I heard it like three different times during the movie. When they were entering Chicago I think it fit pretty well though.

Definitely, one my major gripes with the film is it just seemed like a bloody long Linkin Park advert at times.

The one part I liked it at was when (I think) it was used while Epps gathered his team.
EDIT: It was actually when Epps was telling Sam it was over.

I think it was only fitting during the scene with Epps and Sam coming into Chicago.

It was used a few times but I think on most occasions (especially the drive into Chicago. It sets such a dark, hopeless mood) it's use was justified. Although I did feel there were times when it wasn't needed.

It only really worked at the beginning of the Chicago scene where it set the dark mood for what was to come. Other than that, it was out of place.

I think it was used at all the right moments. I didn't mind it at all.

the song is only average in terms of melody, thats why they have to replay it over and over to make it stick in people's mind.

I think they shoud never put in the first verse of the song for the one scene. It was kind random. They should made it just piano.

Kinda funny since I never listened to the song before the film I never even knew it, and I still have not seen or heard it alone, so I won't know next time I see it, after that though I may watch the video.

    I agree.
Sorry, but I stopped listening toLP after their second album so I may be a little bias on this subject.

It was fitting when Epps gathered his troops, being solemn in the aftermath of the mass death and destruction in Chicago, and I didn't mind hearing it in the ending.

I cringed when they played it while entering Chicago. Horrible, horrible song, by a horrible group.
