Missed online ticket, much chance of getting one on the door?
Toymaster Jervis had a bunch of Titans Return wave four legends, deluxes, and leaders as of yesterday if anyone's still looking. Didn't see any Broadsides, but I might have just missed them.
They had about half a dozen Galvatrons too, weirdly enough. No Sentinels that I could see
They also had TLK leader Megatron and the usual wave one stuff
Hi does Dublin City Comic offer discount for student?
Nope. You can trade in old figures and merch for store credit though and get your discount that way
Have you traded anything?
Did you go to the convention last weekend?
I gave some stuff into them a few weeks back. Their store credit is reasonable enough. You can message their Facebook page telling them what you have to trade in so they can give you a price before bringing it to the shop itself
And no, I didn't go to the convention
Toymaster at the end of Mary St found a few more Sky Shadows and a few more Quakes, Kups, Topspins.
Not a sighting but smyths are selling Titans return Trypticon for €140 right now.
They also have the bludgeon wave of rid now
€128 if you use the voucher at this link.
Special offers for a limited time only at Smyths Toys Superstores!
Cool. Do you guys know if the hip issue is fixed on this batch?
Grimlock and Starscream are listed on Smyths website.
Generations: Power of the primes, they are listed for 2018
Also if anyone is interested, TLK hound is finally available in store at smyths
Picked up Power of the Primes Rodimus Prime, Cloudburst, Skullgrin and Metalhawk today in Ken Blacks in Kilkenny.
They had Optimus Prime too.
I've also heard they're in Ken Blacks in Portlaoise.
Deluxe Allspark power bumblebee (2007), Voyager robovision optimus prime (2007), and ROTF Voyager Bludgeon are all now available in Mr.Price stores
Just chanced upon those today. What a blast from the past!
Bludgeon's been on my want list for almost a decade, so that was easy. I don't think he ever got a proper release over here before. I'd been making do with the Banzaitron version of the mold, that I found up north.
I hope this makes some some of the local kids as excited as I would've been. These may not be the best thing Hasbro's ever done, but they're decent figures, and very affordable.
Good f*ckin' grief.
I had to check i hadn't skipped back a 100 pages or so.
Quick note about bludgeon, age has not been kind to the rubber parts, they were rock solid out of the box.
I had to soak them in hot water for 30 minutes to get any movement out of them without fear of breaking.
Well they have been gathering dust in a warehouse somewhere for nearly 10 years
... I doubt these have been stored in a climate-controlled environment! The ones I looked at all had droopy cannons.
The sellotape on the box pealed off like it had barely any grip left. Haven't really looked at my one, but I held the sword in front of a fan heater for a few seconds. Have to be careful doing this sort of thing, but I got it straightened out and I think it will be fine. The other bits weren't so bad, but I may do them later.
