Saw RID Skywarp and Soundwave in Tesco Dun Laoghaire.
Are these new?
I think they've been spotted in places like Asda in the UK, and they've been on the Smyths website for a while, but with no sign of a release date. They're just marked "Out of Stock". Hopefully they'll start popping up in other places soon. Definitely gonna check Tesco in Maynooth next chance I get
Posted this in news but if you haven't seen, Argos has TLK on their system, if not for sales. Deluxes 32 (or abouts), voyagers 43
€43 for a voyager? Yikes. Here's hoping they show up in Smyths for the slightly more reasonable €32 they've been charging for TR voyagers
"Premium" series more expensive than normal generations everywhere. Very much doubt smyths will be an exception
Patience is usually rewarded on the first few waves of movie toys.
I wonder how Takara decos / pricing will work out...
Kup, sky shadow, broadside etc are listed on the Smyths site now. Listed as in store only atm.
Sixshot never came back on the site for purchase, did Smiths stock him or just toymaster?
Only ever popped up in Toymaster, and even then it was for a very brief period
Once the first lot were all snatched up, that was it. He's not been seen since
Gnaw and etc in Arnotts.
Edit: Predictive text *eyeroll*
Not marked as such on the website, but apparently Computron is marked down to €50 in Smyths shops. Likewise, RID warriors are down to €15, and TR leaders for €25 (if you can find any)
Computron's price-cut is likely because he's probably not selling super well, but at €50 for a voyager, four deluxes, and a legends figure, it'd be hard to say no
A few sixshots in Hamleys.
If you want to pay the 73 euro asking price is up to you.
I'll be visiting Dublin in early June from the US and am wondering what are the places I should check while I'm there? We're staying on the outskirts of City Centre so we can do lots of on foot sight seeing. Thanks in advance!
Well, if you're in the city centre, there's Smyths and Toymaster on Jervis street. They'd be the two to go to for current stuff. Though honestly, you probably won't find anything you could probably find in the US. And it'd be a lot more expensive too
Dublin City Comics on Bolton Street is worth a look though. They get in some of the current Takara stuff (Legends, Masterpiece, etc.), as well as a load of second-hand items from lots of different lines. And the lads in there are really nice too
How about Forbidden Planet? And is it worth me bringing anything to sell that might be sought after in Ireland?
Forbidden Planet doesn't really do much Transformers stuff, aside from whatever comics have come out in the past few weeks. They've had the same CW Mirage and Ironhide sitting on a peg for over a year now
I don't really know if there's anything specifically sought after, so I don't know if it'd worthwhile for you. Most people, if they really want something, find a way to get it as soon as possible
Seconded on DCC there, got some great figures there (UW Bruticus, Terminus Hexatron)
Their second hand range is great as well, just make sure if something is really cheap check its in good condition.
Thanks for all the help guys!
Tesco Maynooth had TLK deluxes for €27. They also had Tiny Turbo Changers for €4, and One Steps for €17 (I think)
Smyths are clearing out Wave 1 and 2 Titans Return Leaders for 25 euro.
Stocks are low tho, so you'll have to check in store.
Hi guys. sorry to bump in. Which sixshot are we talking here?
Btw, is the Last Knight on screen yet?
