I got a refurbished iPod Nano toady, and it doesn't work. I plugged it in for about an hour while I was putting music on and it won't turn on now. It worked right afterward, for about 10 minutes before I turned if off. It had been plugged in to my computer for about 10 minutes now, and I'm not getting any response; not even a charging logo. Should I contact Apple or just wait overnight to see if the battery is dead?

What does the screen say? Is it blank, showing errors, or link to apple's ipod support? The standard procedure would be to hold down the menu and select button (the big circle in the middle), while turning the lock key on and off continuously for 30 seconds. If that doesn't work take it to an Apple store where they offer free support help. Good luck.

My technologically-impaired mom fixed it somehow, so a mod can close this thing. Thanks for the help though, Predaking.
