iPhone tracks and records your location?

    this scares me. makes me fell like i am always being watched now. any way to delete this function?

    As of yet no.

    "Condolences" are that you either need the phone itself, or the backed up file from your computer to get the info.

    On the other hand as I said to a friend, with this if your phone gets stolen you can track the thieving scumbag and get your property back.

    Great potential for abuse, but good can come of it, utilised correctly.

    Actually no, you need the phone for the file. Granted Apple has other means of tracking a lost or stolen phone.
