Closed the other Invincible Iron Man thread since it was old and didn't want to bring back a zombie thread.

Just read the first issue of Resilient and liked the direction it's going.

Like the new design of the armor too.

Question before this thread gets too spoilery... would this be a good "jump-on" point for me to start picking up the Iron Man book? The movie is re-sparking my interest in the character again. Any other storylines you'd recommend?

While it is a good jump on point since it's technically a new arc, there's a lot that happened since Invincible #1 that led to where the story is now.

If you can, I'd suggest getting everything Invincible. It's definitely one of the better tales out there. Definitely deserves the Eisner it won.

This isn't a bad jumping on point. The last arc gets decently explained in the first few pages. And really if you can get singles or the trades of the previous arc it is a good story as well.

Loved the issue. I am not a big fan of the new armor but Larocca draws it well so it doesn't look as light and dark as the preview images. Hopefully they keep up the quality World's Most Wanted had.

Read the first issue. It was pretty good start to a promising arc. Like how the new armor look, but storing all of it in Stark himself? I not sure about that...

Good issue, and I'm curious who this Hammer lady is. Though that panel when Tony & Reed are just looking at each other really freaked me out with Reed's head being drawn that way.

Hm, I figure this'll be on topic so I'll ask here. I read World's Most Wanted Man 1 and 2 and I really enjoyed it. So I'm wondering, what all should I read to get all caught up on Iron Man, or should I pick and choose which trades I read. If the latter, any recommendations?

What was up with those two panels? Why as Reed's head drawn like that?
