Does anyone collect Invader ZIM toys? I was thinking about getting some, but they're so expensive.

I've got Zim in human disguise, Gir as a dog, both of the Tallest, Dib, and Gaz. They're pretty cool. I was lucky enough to pick them up at retail back-whenever-they-were-out.

    Ebay:
Oh, are those expensive now or something? I got a Gir back when they first came out. I wasn't collecting a ton at the time so I didn't get anything else. Hes still sitting in the pig on a shelf.

...wow. They uh, really want a lot for these MISB on Ebay, don't they.

DAYUM! Those do cost a lot. Damn.

Anyways, personally I wouldn't pay that much, but maybe it's because I'm not that big a fan of Invader Zim.

I say, if you REALLY want one, then go ahead and get one!

They are cool toys, though. The stuff I've got came with, among other things, Zim's house and front yard and floating platform thing for the Tallest to hang out on.

The figures are cool, with LOTS of accessories, but they are fragile and really not very posable at all. The look of the characters doesn't lend itself well to articulation. I have the whole set plus a few test shots (the house and the collector club Gir that was never produced) It's too bad the series 3 never came out with Prof. Membrane, Tak, Invader Skooge and the Santa Zim / Elf Gir set :(  The line is destined to be incomplete (much like apparently the Kevin Smith Inaction figures :(  Was still hoping for the Clerks 2 set as well as Leonardo Leonardo and Plug....like with Zim....so close yet so far from feeling complete...)
