    Finally. :D

    SPOILERS!

The Inuyasha anime has no ending the as manga was not completed at that time. Naraku is finally killed by Kagome in chapter 552 and now it should be ending soon. Catch out the ending at www.onemanga.com. (If this is not allowed, post and I'll remove the link)

I'm not a big fan, but I posted this because we all know how long Inuyasha is and it finally ending is quite..... amusing :rolleyes2

I stopped caring when the show went into it's third run of "new repeat episodes". Though it's nice it's finally over.

It was close, 513 episodes is you count all of DB, DBZ, DBGT, and their respective movies, TV specials, and OAVs.

....I mean no offense, but is that all you post now? And why would you post in (let alone read) a thread about a topic that you don't care about? Not trying to flame, just confused and curious.

And is this just in the magna, or are we gonna get any kind of animated conclusion? If not, this is in the wrong forum.

I sure Cartoon Network will just keep re-running them until the end of days.

I guess that's a relief to all those Guantanimo Bay prisoners. One less form of torture.

I enjoyed 500 something versions of the same story with no real ending. Whatever will I do with myself now?

Well, if you want the full story, I actually do have some history with Inuyasha. It's the anime I credit with completely getting me out of anime. I started watching it on Adult Swim when it first debuted, got kind of into it, but eventually got put off by the fact that nothing appreciable ever happened on the show. And that, combined with the overrated snoozefest that is Rurouni Kenshin, pretty much ended my love affair with anime that had been going on since my freshman year of college/ So it's a bit of a milestone show for me in that I've never watched another anime after it.

So in spite of the fact that I gave up on the show ages ago, I'm still intrigued enough by the prospect of it ending to click on the thread. But at the same time I don't care anything about what happens in the plot. Rather, I'm quite amazed that someone managed to get 552 chapters out of a bunch of people gluing a magic orb back together while fighting a guy dressed like an ape.

And, beyond that, I have an account here and, so long as I don't violate any of the board rules, flamebait, or spam, I have every right to post whatever I want to say in any given thread.

OMFG! I stopped watching Inuyasha about 2 or 3 years ago (around episode 160), 522 episodes?! WTF?!!! I can't believe it went that long! Where can I watch a summary of what happened?

I still can't believe it is longer than DB, and that Naraku was still the villain.

Guys, it was 522 issues of the comic. The anime ended a while back with no real conclusion.

Thanks for clearing that up. I knew the anime ended a few years back, but since I got disconnected, it seems possible that somehow it was restarted. And some of the comments don't help either.

*Nods* Very well. Here's a prescription for Gurren Lagann; watch it in a marathon session and come back in the morning. Next patient!
