Knock him all you want, but he's okay with me.

I might not dig the movie, but he's doing what he feels is best for the film, and it seems like he's given it some thought.

i think bay before going into this didn't realize how big this fanbase is and how important it is to alot of ppl, so alot of careless decesions were made, most of which seemed to have been fixed, espically with the designs being tweaked. i think the sequal will be a much better transformers film cuz i think they now realize how big and important transformers is.

I love how he answers the sequel question with the word 'we'. It gives me a great feeling of confidence that he is in this for the long haul. Kudos!

This Movie is going to be HUGE! It is going to create more interest and attract new fans! Maybe it will ensure the longevity of the Transformers franchise. I’m not a big fan of most of the movie designs but I have no problem with Bay’s desire for different incarnations of the characters we know and love. If the designer didn’t take liberties then we wouldn’t have Bumblebee. I don’t know about you but I prefer a Camaro to a Beetle 10 out 10 times even though I grew up with G1.

i'm extremely excited to see the action in this movie. i just hope it doesn't turn out to be like pearlharbor.. bits of action around a stupid love story. but as of now it should be at least a very entertaining movie.

That was an impressive interview. They covered quite a lot and covered it very well. I have much more respect for Bay now that I have seen how well spoken and knowledgeable he is. Plus, he did the entire interview w/o giving away much at all, and certainly w/o any spoilers which I do appreciate. I am very excited about this movie and this interview just added to the excitement.

yeah. people that were even mild tf fans at one point in their life are psyched. I keep hearing people refer to TF "Classics" toys as being reissues of the 84' line.

Maybe he could do Transformers verses Bad Boys. Ben Affleck could show up to save the day in a Space Shuttle from Armageddon...which would then become Sky Lynx!

    -Tony!
    Wil settle for TF2.

Sounding good. I really hope the movie is a success, not only for the franchise, but to help revitalize Bay's career (after the so-so returns from The Island and Pearl Harbor).
