Top stuff! Jon is indeed a legend and I'm lucky to be able to call him a friend.

A legend only in his mind, my friend...so says his older brother.

Congrats on your first official "fan" interview, little bro.

Thanks, big bro! Andy's not really a "fan" though, more like a friend who wanted to get an interview by the CHANCE I ever DID become a "legend." (yeah, right... what he don't know won't hurt him! :D  )

More like legend... wait for it... DARY! Whutup. :)

For the record (even though I've mentioned it on the boards here before) what peaked my curiosity about character voices were originally cartoons. My brother VOICEROY and I watched Transformers and GIJOE as well as other classics like Voltron, Silverhawks, MASK, Thundercats (wasn't allowed to watch HE-MAN), etc. My brother VOICEROY pointed out that the same certain people were doing the voices of multiple characters on multiple shows. He began finding out who these voice actors were and which characters they voiced. We would always do impressions as kids to the point of driving our mom crazy. VOICEROY worked for a site where he would research voice actors and compile information about them and their careers. We also religiously listened to Pat Fraley's cassettes on how to do character voices. All this was part of what got me interested in voices. I never really considered doing it for a living, it was just kind of cool info to know. My brother even nicknamed me "the world's largest source of useless information" or something to that effect. I in no way meant to slader or leave my brother out of the interview on purpose. I took the interview as a quick paraphrasing of how I got into doing it as a CAREER not how I got interested in voices in the first place. That would have been a whole extra 10 minutes or just another interview all together. Sorry, Voiceroy. Just thought I would mention this and clear up any mistakes I might have made.

Cool stuff, I enjoyed watching. Seems like your career is headed in the right direction, Jon. I look forward to hearing what you get to work on next.

And thanks, arlocon, for getting this on record for all of us to see.
