News Post: Interview With Hasbro On The Future Of Transformers Cinematic Universe
They effectively ignored the most important question, which means they intend to ignore screams for a reboot of style.
I won\'t be paying a cent for any Bay inspired movies, not a dime. I\'ll only see them if they\'re free.
In an interview about the movieverse they start talking about clothes and my little pony. Worse than politicians.
As long as people keep buying into their ridiculous bullshit...
I don't even know why I keep reading these interviews expecting some sort of news or answer anymore LOL.
Still hoping for a sequel to TLK before they change anything.
Have a drop of common sense people. This was an interview at a Brand Licensing exposition to their Licensing staff, they're not the people that know anything about what features into the movies future, their entire job is to make relations between other companies looking to use the Transformers brand in product like clothes and lunch boxes. Think before crying.
If they continue this Cinematic Universe, I hope BB movie and the next one can improve what they did on TLK.
WTF did I just read? That was just some cookie cutter canned responses like a telemarketer. The answer to that last question didn't even apply to the question asked...
I was rather excited to hear about the deal with Blue Sky. Planned for Q4 and calling out "gift products" specifically, I would imagine Christmas wrapping paper is on order at the very least. Hasn't been Transformers wrapping paper since... when, Energon?
"Hasbro has really created a Transformers Cinematic Universe here. With each new film, what approach does the [Hasbro] team take?"
TLK was a fantastic movie, I would really love to see them finish out that storyline.
Q: "Hi, how are you today?"
A: "Well thank you, it IS nice out today, isn't it?"
They probably want a reboot ASAP ! I wonder why !?
Not saying I like all the Bayformer movies either...
Before they take over, at least give us a sequel and finale to TLK.
It's funny cause it's true
I have enjoyed reading medication side effect sheets more than this riveting interview.
No, this interview =
Q: "Hi, how are you today?"
A: "I love my new coffee maker. I like cats and glue too."
Can't believe I'm saying this, but, yeah, guys, finish the 'story'.
That was some garbled nonsense, almost unintelligible. Understandably, they were apparently licensing staff. But, in that case, don't try to answer a question you are ill-equipped to address. Hasbro takes a "pragmatic" approach by focusing on details? What?
And finally, "Transformers (media)...lends itself to products" (!) Any Transformers fan knows that, at base, Transformers is primarily about the figures. Whether G1 is your preferred universe or no, the original Transformer media/mythology was derivative of the toys, not the other way around.
This was quite meh and unfulfilling.
Did they get a robot to answer these questions?
