I hope the right lessons are taken from this success.

 

True-yet, if BB had relied on domestic box office alone, this would be a quite different story   

 

I think we're in a good spot. Bumblebee made just enough money to prove Transformers can still be profitable, but not enough money in order for them to want to rush things with pointless spinoffs right away. I hope they take a breath and come back with a bang when they'll have a solid vision.

 

Yes. International box office certainly helped, too.

 

Nice to see it is doing well, and the article even mention that Bumblebee has outperformed Aquaman.  

 

I’m as pleased as anyone for Bumblebee’s success but by what Eldritch metric has it outperformed Aquaman?

Oh I see, it pulled in more money for that particular weekend, not in any overall way since Aquaman just waltzed into the Billion Dollar club.
