I REALLY want the FE figures, but never saw them in my area. At this point, would it be better to get the assistance of a Canadian to buy them for me, or buy what I can off of BBTS then ask someone in Canada to help me get the rest?

    Thanks,
    Rattraprules98

They weren't widely available in Canada either, only in some Toys R Us Stores. They are mostly long gone now.

You've got a point... but there's also a chance that they'll end up at Ross, Marshall's, and TJ Maxx. I think I'll wait and see...

Personally, I doubt this. TRU tends to hold on to their stock for a long time. I don't think there will be any left to sell to those discounters.

^^^ That's an interesting point. We've never seen any TRU US toys make it to the discounters. TRU Canada will probably work the same way.

I don't believe these toys will make it to the discounters because Hasbro had the option of selling them at full price to BBTS, ToyWiz, Entertainment Earth and didn't.

During the Windcharger/PCC/RTS fiasco those stores still got their allottment in.

Highly doubtful - the way that works is Hasbro ships product to the retailers' distribution centers. If the retailers feel they have too many, they sell them to the discounters. If Hasbro has additional overstock, they also sell to the discounters.

In this case, though, Hasbro has said that the toys weren't even produced for the US market. As such, there wouldn't be any toys to sell to the discounters.

You probably should clarify if you are talking about the figure or total shipped for 50. Considering the figure cost $37 retail it'll cost more then $50 shipped even if you find a nice Canadian willing to spot you cost+shipping.

At this point, for anybody besides Bumblebee, you have to splurge some cash.

Like it or not, both the Canadian FE or the Japanese FE have higher retail, and only Bumblebee is plentiful and available at around 10 USD [at BBTS].

They're not the BEST FIGURES EVER [at least BB, Bulkhead is fantastic], but now they cost a lot.

Either get them NOW, or risk waiting even more and get them at 50 USD plus a piece, and I'm talking about deluxes...

I'd get them now. None of the stuff that got to Canada will be found in the U.S. in the same packaging, since it's trilingual and American TF packaging does not have tri-lingual print all over it. Sure, some of the lower prices may seem high, but better those prices than the later ones that make the current high prices look like bargains.

Wait, what? Deluxes cost THAT much in Canada? I thought people were just bumping up the price because of the low supply/high demand thing.

FE Prime is a Voyager - he's quoting a Voyager retail price, not a deluxe.
