Looks like I was right after all when I reviewed Powerglide; his landing gear is totally useless.

I know Hasbro's instructions are good at missing important steps, (Prowl's extending feet) but I really hope that they fix that massively glaring error in Sideswipe's instructions.

Also, he already has a his shoulder weapon. The exhaust pipe gun has a small peg at the bottom of the handle, that plugs into the holes in the shoulders.

That supercharger is a sunstreaker specific piece, and once I get a Sideswipe, it will be going into my unused bits drawer. I find myself inexplicably annoyed that they include it with Sideswipe.

You could attach it to Sideswipe's gun so when its mounted on his shoulder it doesn't obviously look like he stuck his gun on his shoulder for no apparent reason :D

He hasn't. Just that since Botcon 2007, everybody is "ZOMG THEY'RE GONNA SCREW US AGAIN" when Hasbro doesn't *immediately* announce a G1 redeco or retool of a common mold, such as Prowl/Silvertreak into Smokescreen or Sunstreaker/Sideswipe into Red Alert.

Of course, Red Alert and Smokescreen COULD wind up used as Botcon exclusives. We don't know yet. They certainly are the least popular characters who would use those molds.

Chrome lacquer's your answer in that case. A product called Alclad - it comes in several metal finishes, but the chrome one is especially impressive and useful; it's available either in a bottle designed for airbrush application (although I often use it with a soft brush) or in a spray can. Have a look at this thread in the Radicons forum for more info.

Ugh, too bad they screwed up Sideswipe's instructions so much. Not that big a deal to those of us who know what he's supposed to look like, but I feel bad for those who don't.

Ironhide looks RAD, and now I cannot wait for Ratchet!

Galvatron's transformation looks awesome, but can someone who has him answer this: Do the instructions show what those extra "feet" are for like the ones we saw in all the early video reviews?

Ironhide looks like it will be the best of the Classics 2.0 line. Too bad his feet resemble flippers.

My god, my eyes! I never look at instructions, I feel I've now blasphemed!

From THOSE they look pretty simple but it's my understanding the instruction diagrams aren't always totally clear to follow right?

Yeah sometimes the instructions are vague, I refer to a video or something else before I break it...

red alert and smokescreen are good ideas, however, so too are Tigertrack and Diaclone Red Sunstreaker
