The G2 Groove is currently at $957 at the time of this writing. If you had the money to get it, what would you spend that money on instead?

I would pay off my current debt for $400, then I would satisfy my inner geek and get a Perfect Grade Zeta Gundam for $200, then I would put the rest in savings, for a nice new computer.

What about you guys?

 

$957 would cover all my Botcon costs plus plenty of spending money in the dealer room

$3000 would go in savings for a trip to Hawaii, Australia, or Hong Kong

$10 should more than cover the cost of buying a Defensor KO and a pack of orange dye

 

Actually, I think $3000 is more than enough to go to on a trip like that. I wasn't even thinking about the previous Protectobot. If I had THAT money, I'd go to Japan.

 

Pretty much anything BUT that ugly little eyesore.

A few Jap TFs, or other rare ones.

Maybe bills.

 

For those lazy people out there, the Hartmans will probably bring in about $24000 from the Protectobots and Stunticons.

 

More than likely. Personally, I think they're as ugly as the majority of G2. Nasty colors and all... I don't know why Hasbro thought those would look nice in those colors. I don't see the attractions and certainly think that they aren't worth what they're going for. But than I think all the G2 combiners look nasty... the only exception is the yellow Devastator. But the Hartmans will probably make a mint.

Myself. I'd buy the G1 originals MIB (I guarantee they'd be cheaper than these will go for) and put the rest into savings... maybe pick up Star Saber and Deathsauras too.

 

You could always buy this.

I would purchase 201 pints of Wellington County Ale from my regular pub ( $957/ $4.75= 201.47 pints of beer)

 

Well, I would pay off my debts of about $150, then I would get the G1 Reissues that I would want, then I would try to convince my parents to let me got to Botcon.

 

Ha! I could probably pick up one or two REAL human limbs for the price its going for now!

New pair of galsses...mortgage.....weekend away. That much money I wouldn't spend on a toy.

I would never pay 4 digits for any toy. If I had that much money now I'd be seeing even more concerts this year.


I was also thinking of how these auctions are being done separately. Chances are no one will get all of either group. I'm sorry if this has been answered, but why do they not have Hot Spot or Motormaster?

 

Hmmm for the same $$$ as 1 G2 Protectobot...

I'd love to say a G2 Stunticon...but I expect those will be HIGHER than the Protectobots...they ARE cooler, and since Breakdown is obtainable the buyer of even just 1 has Menasor closer to being complete  

2nd choice would be both LD Lioconvoy and LD Micron Legend Megatron

3rd choice Jumbo Machinders Combattler & a few more vintage Popy pieces

I would make a dentist appointment to get rid of my bottom wisdom teeth that hurt like a mudda. My teeth need cleaned anyway as it's been over a decade. I would get my door handle fixed on my passengers side of my car so you could open it from the outside, I would get the cracked belt under my hood replaced, and put a mirror on my driver's side. For the $3000 amount I would finally marry the mother of my daughter. If I were going to squeeze a toy in somewhere it'd be reissue Star Convoy. Hell, if I were going to spend $3000 exclusively on a toy, I'd get me a Fort Max! But yeah, there's all kinds of non toy stuff I seriously need. I'm running out of good pants, and I'd like to get some new shoes. There's a killer pair of Dr. Airwear Martin's I'd like to get. I could go out to eat at a not $1 menu restaurant. Man, so much.... But I really need dental work.
