Added articulation and paint to bring these guys into the 21st century. The Insecticons were my favorite transformers as a kid, so I thought I'd give them some updates and love.

Shrapnel has added articulation to his shoulders, elbows, wrists, hands, waist, thighs, ankles, and knees.

nice, finally getting back to your G1 roots. arms look a little thin at the bicept, but i think thats part of the original toy. i would have given more gloss too--- i always remembered the insecticons with a shiny finish, but other than the personal perferences, nice work.

I really like the way you pretty much kept the G1 toy aspects in bug mode by using his stock legs on the backs of the new ones and the arms being stock but modified with ball joints. Great work

    Thanks!

I know, I thought about adding their powers with PS, might do that for the auction pics.

No gloss for me hehe. I like the more rustic look, even on insects which should be super shiny. Lots of G1 stuff coming soon from me.

    Thanks!

    Thanks Thanks.

    Thanks

Not really. the hands can come off or remain on, but they won't interfere with alt mode (just look better w/o them in alt mode)

If you eat my heart, I would be dead and unable to do anything really. but, thanks.

    Thanks guys!

Do the hand by chance fit in his chest cavity?

    yep. :)

I debated, hands in there, or electronics. Big Hank's got enough on his table right now to worry about these bugs, so i went with "hands in the chest."

Nice! Just looked at your other threads one more time, do the hands fit in all of the insects chest? I would imagine that they do, just curious. Funny that I didn't even notice that the hands weren't present in bug mode until I read the thread comments this morning. Mainly because I've lloked at your threads at least 4 times each before today

yeah, they all can fit in there. Like said, you can leave the hands on or take them off. they plug in to the wrists with tight friction type plug/socket.
