I know there's been some Infernocus/Infernocon art floating around, so I'm not sure if this is a rehash of another post. This looks like the main reference material for the Skulk figure in the combiner box-set. Loving the added skull trophies.

Wish they went with this design. Looks much more fearsome and agile. Instead of Bullrobot with short stubby legs and out of proportion arm cannons.

Looks cool and very detailed, but I would prefer to kill this dude in Diablo, than to see him in TF5;)

I think this is the individual bot mode for one of the Infernocus components

Ah, you may be right. He didn't actually name it in his post, so I just assumed.

Nice image, great art, but basically it embraces every problem people have with the movie designs. Doesn't look like a Transformer, just a monster robot.

I really only have that issue with the knights and Infernocons so I hope they move away from that direction in future movies. A little alt mode kibble goes a long way but I'm guessing this guy only transforms into a torso. That dormant combiner face in his chest is pretty bitchin' though.

This is awesome, it also looks more "combiner" than what we got which was kind of just an organic mash together to combine.

As if plenty of TFs haven't done so in the past.

There's really not an infallible standard for what a Transformer looks like, other than "robot." That's kinda the point.

But I'm not wrong. Plenty of people have complained about the designs, and I have defended some and agreed that some are a mess. For my own tastes, I like designs that look like they Transform and aren't too organic in nature.

But he doesn't transform, he only combines. And TFs have looked organic before

Interesting art. Really makes him feel like a long time guardian for Quintessa with the multiple heads on it as almost foreboding of those who may try to attack him. The horns make me question the design some though. Not that it's a bad element, that it makes me question character origins since the horns were such a big deal about things tied to Unicron in TLK. So it makes me wonder how and where Quintessa got these little soldiers for herself, which comes back to that question of why the guardian knights referred to her as the great deceiver.

Do all of these really deserve separate news posts? Why not wait a day or so and do recaps of the previous day's concept art posts...
