I can't be the only one who picked this up today. Just watched Raiders and the DTS-HD track is nothing short of spectacular. Video quality on the first three movies is leaps and bounds over the DVD (and Laser Disc, which I still have ). I haven't checked out Crystal Skull since I have the original BD release. C'mon, where's the Indy love?
I'll get it eventually. It's a must-own for me but I don't need to rush out and get it since it isn't a limited release or anything. My wife and I would rather save up for the huge Harry Potter set.
I want that freakin' Potter set also. It's killin' me. That said, I did pick up Indy today. Can't wait to go home and watch them.....All FOUR of them.
No, you're right. I really don't fancy Last Crusade. Never have. I'll still watch it, but not as often as the others. So I agree with 3 out of the 4.
I know you were. I just wasn't . Personally, being 100% honest here, he ruined the movie for me as a kid. I wanted to see Indy and Sallah banter, not him being berated by his dad. It's my least favorite, by a long shot. I couldn't stand his temporary love-interest in the movie either. So if I could choose to pay to not have one in there, it would be Crusade. But of course I wouldn't do that because it's still an Indy movie.
I'm definitely getting this, but I'm gonna wait for a sale. OMG! Last Crusade is my favorite movie ever.
It's Raiders for me, followed by Temple, and then the other two as I'll watch once in a blue moon. I grew up with Temple though. I was too little to be interested in Raiders until after watchng Temple and then going back. And it all started with the Atari 2600 game for me
The Indiana Jones movies are some of my favorite movies of all time. Raiders of the Lost Ark is my favorite of the movies and it's probably my second favorite movie of all time. My second favorite in the series is The Last Crusade and it is so close to being first. Temple of Doom is third even though I still love it too. Kingdom of the Crystal Skull has a lot of flaws, but I still enjoyed it for the most part. It is the weakest Indiana Jones film, but I still like it.
