I love this idea. I really do. The delays don't bother me at all; I know how long it takes to get something like this to a point where it's a workable design. Keep it up. I'll be buying it when it's ready.
I think preordering it from the website it doesn't seem right to me, but if like other said BBTS or TFSource then I'll get it. I thought the name Roadmaster was cool to me, but whatever name you use is fine.
I need this. Followed by new stickers from Reprolabels with Sandra Bullock and Keanu Reaves from Speed.
Looks good. Nice to know progress is being made. The head sculpt is a bit too Gundamy for me. Those pieces look pretty intricate. I hope they are sturdy!
I'd always kinda hoped that there would be a simpsons transformers xover and hasbro would produce schoolbus otto. That would be magic.
Cool man, thanks for the update, I was just wondering what had happened to this the other day. He hasn't taken anyone's money, just names. He meant it wasn't coming this Chrimbo like he originally stated when it was announced.
that does look very cool. but if its only around 7 inches tall in robot mode and 8 inches long in bus.... thats a big bust for me.. -_- it would of been awesome if he was around 10-11 inches tall in robot mode
I like it the only suggestion I'd have is if it had some 5MM post hole on the underside of the kibble some place or in the hand holes.
You know looking at that what it makes me want - an Optimus Prime based on this Eddie Stobart truck http://i.telegraph.co.uk/telegraph/multimedia/archive/00875/money-graphics-2007_875404a.jpg [They are nearly all named and female except and very few and one is REALLY called 'Optimus Prime' thus : http://www.roadtransport.com/blogs/big-lorry-blog/24012008102.jpg] & Transformers, Optimus Prime and Eddie Stobart on Biglorryblog. Surely there's no connection...or is there? - BigLorryBlog and also one of these that Transforms : http://jalopnik.com/cars/assets/resources/2007/06/Dragon-Truck-01.jpg http://jalopnik.com/cars/assets/resources/2007/06/Dragon-Truck-02.jpg
I wrote these guys an email. Seems they are at production stage now. Couldn't tell me an exact release date though.
Are there any actual pictures of this thing yet? Not concept art or CG renders, but actual hardcopy prototype pictures? ~Z
Got an update thismorning! Glad to hear this is continuing. I hope the decrease in price despite the increase in scale doesn't mean that the quality of the figure will suffer for it - still, ~$30 for a foot long transforming bus is none-too-shabyy!
