Two new robots have recently shown up in my local store. They are both by bandai, one turns into a red falcon, the other a gold wolf. The robot modes are about delux sized. They look really cool, but they're expensive for the size, so i'd like to know a little more about them before slapping down the dosh. :google  hasn't helped at all, because i don't read japanese, and I don't know the name of the robots or the series.

I can't tell you much off the top of my head. I'd need a picture before I could say with any confidence what you're dealing with. Unfortunately I know of an awful lot of deluxe-ish sized falcon toys!

I got a bit confused. Here is a list of what was wrong with my first post. 1. The robots are by Konami, not Bandai. 2. They are voyager size, not delux. They are actually from Gransazer which seems to be konami's shot at the sentai market.

A-ha! Yeah, I know those now. Cho Sei Jin Gransazer is the series name, I don't know the mech names off the top of my head, but I do know there are four mecha in that series, total. The other two are a purple beetle and a blue whale.
There's also a set of the four, non-transforming, which combine around a core robot to form a big dragon called Daisazer.
I don't own the robots myself, though. From what I understand they're meant to be pretty good, though. The Daisazer set looks awesome, too bad the only real gallery I knew of on Invincible Robot Laboratory went down a long time ago.

I just bought the red falcon, he's pretty good. His name is Garuda (i think, translated from the korean inserts, which i can read.) I'll give myself a bit more time with him before doing a mini review and photoshoot.

Those look pretty sweet. Any chances of them hitting the states??? (to compete with Power Rangers)
Or are they going to end up being hard to find online like those Konami Amdrivers?

It's takes alot of toyballs to go up against the Sentai , so hope it's not doomed by the 3rd wave.

    Looks like some cool toys.
