It's one of the funnier comics I've read in a while. I can do with a bit less of Cho being his smarmy "I'm smart!!" self, and more of the Ares/Herc interactions. I do like that they're incorporating a bit more of the original myths into his story.

    "Hot DAMN I'm evil!"

    So yeah, read it.

I picked up the first issue and liked it enough to check out the others.

I'm enjoying the hell outta this book. And I'll second Caterwaul on the incorporation of the mythology into this book. Gives it an almost "Simonson-Thor" kinda feel.

Is it going to? Or, I guess I should say, are there current plans for the book to switch back over? What with the Hulk having a new series now and all.

yeah, if they werent gonna switch it back, they shoulda just given herc his own book...though i think he shoulda had his own book either way...i hate when books renumber/retitle....action comics, detective all that stuff, drives me nuts...and then when it jumps back to the original numbers, which is inevitable...but whatever, i'm not in charge...

Well, yeah, eventually, no doubt. I was worried that it was going to be an immediate thing, is all. I'm just fine with Herc having his own book for awhile, especially if Pak and Van Lente keep writing it.

The art, though...not horrible, but they could change artists without breaking my heart too much.

I figure once we get green Hulk vs red Hulk out of the way, it won't be long before we go back to The Incredible Hulk. I'd be surprised if it doesn't happen by the time the movie comes out.
