it seems it is about to get released as chimungmung has opened pre-orders

they mention abominus will get it's own package, will it be a japanese repro box or a custom one?

 

By "KO Reissue" you mean its another release of this garbage?

nope it's one of those high quality reissues
this one has all the abominus members, and is made to look just like the original, both the toys and package

 

Ugh, I've always wanted the Terrorcons... but I think I'd prefer originals... hrm.

 

These High End KOs are hit and miss. Menasor and Devastator were great High End KOs. Superion was a crappy high end KO. So much so, it almost should have been a lower tier KO.

Devastator was actually better then the original. I have both, so I was able to compare. Not sure if it was better then the reissue though.

So this is something that is pretty interesting. I always wonder how they charge like $70 for a combiner and $40 for a deluxe though.

 

I love the Terrorcons!!! Why can't this be an Encore release  

 

I know this is a technicality. But this is a knockoff, not a re-issue.

 

Probably since it was a lesser character. I find that Season 3 is pretty over looked from both the Classics and Encore line.

 

All the KO HQ Giftsets have been US packaging so far.

I'm hesitant. I bought the HQ KO Defensor and Superion was disapointed in both - esp Superion.

 

I wonder if HQ KO Computron is on the way too? Tony mentioned it was probably coming out in July.

 

i really hope that it comes with an "custom" US package i don't want my original abominus value to depreciate

Well fuck, Abominus was the last G1 combiner on my list too (save for Monstructor, no intentions of ever owning him). Guess I'll just need to be extra careful moving forward.

 

I have the HQ KO Superion, and he's freaking great. Granted, I had to repaint all the little guys' chest plates, but who cares? They're all fine.

Plus, it's freaking Superion, and he's ghey anyway.

 

Hmm. I didn't know it only came out in Italy and Japan. So it's either a custom English box, Takara box, or Italian box?

Hope its the takara packaging.

Maybe it'll drive down the prices of the original giftsets?

Hopefully not... That's why ko's spoil the fun in collecting! if they repro either the Takara or the gig versions I can predict a lot of people getting scammed... We'll see people paying $2000 for ko's (if they repro the Italian version) and $600 (if they repro the Japanese version)
I have nothing against the ko's I just don't want to get myself and other people screwed by them, so I'm hopping for custom package for the sake of fair collecting

 

Yeah, me too. I'll wait for Encore too, not a fan of KO Reissue that fool consumers.

 

I've always wondered about the quality of them. What was wrong?
