So who is the strongest Autobot? Any Autobot from any series!

Yeah Fort Max is a given... but pound for pound, probably Brawn.

 

Yeah Brawn is short but he is damn strong. Do you think Grimlock is stronger than Brawn?

 

Well how do you want to define it? Overall strength, probably primus, simply due to size.

I'll say Metroplex, because i prefer Fort Max in the size he had in the Marvel Comics, but thats my preferance.

Metroplex, and Fort Max for the HUGE TF's and probably Brawn for the smaller ones.

 

Strenght means much, you need to define it firs,

1) any tf lifting a certain weight = Fort Max will win, he is the biggest and strongest.

2) Strenght compared to zize = Brawn comes to mind as said but I am unsure of this, Grimlock might have a saying to this.

I go with the masses and say Fort Max for over all strength but size wise Brawn,how
could he not be.

 

Setting aside the giants and combiners and citybots, etc... also Megs and Prime...

Nope. By the Tech Specs, Brawn is a 9 while Grimlock is a 10... one of the very few 10 Strength characters in the pre-movie line.

Also Grimlock is noted in his profile for being "second only to Optimus, and even that is debatable". Now, according to the profiles, Prime can life 4 MILLION lbs, which is about 2000 tons!!

Frankly, I think this is an error... if you divide that by 10, it seems a lot more logical, and logically matched against some of the combiner strength levels. But even if that means Prime (and Grimlock by extension) can lift 200 tons, Brawn can only lift 95 tons according to his profile... so Grimlock is at least twice as strong as Brawn.

In terms of OVERALL strength... depends on the fiction. In the cartoons (US and Japan) Fortress Maximus seems like a clear contender. However, in the Marvel comics (and IDW seems to follow this), he was more moderately sized, and possibly comparable to Grimlock (when they were supposed to duel, it was largely speculated that Fort Max was too weak from his injuries to stand a chance).

By the Tech Specs, I think Piranacon holds the record, though it's a bit dubious... according to his profile, he can do a ridiculous 4 MILLION TONS, even though his Tech Spec rating is only a 9.

Second is almost unquestionably Omega Supreme with his 300 000 tons WITH ONE ARM! This puts him 5-10 times stronger than Metroplex, believe it or not.

Although Omega Supreme doesn't really have very good 'hands' to utilise that strength sadly.
