Hurray Hollywood! Finally something original, In Time look's to be a good movie. Look's like it'll be in par with Inception, what do you think?
I like the idea behind it and I'd be interested in seeing this movie.

    Ebay:
Harlan Ellison sued the filmmakers and those associated with this film because he claims the film is taken from one of his most popular short stories- Repent, Harlequin!' Said the Ticktockman.

i take it that the case didn't end well for Mr. Ellison.

Many in Hollywood hate the man for his litigious nature, but he has a long history of defending the intellectual property and rights of the writers. Book, Film, Radio, etc, he wants fair compensation for work, or he wants to prevent an award winning work turned into a Razzie winning turd.

at any rate, i will wait for video release.

like i said, he is known for doing it because he believes in protecting not only himself, but writers in general.

Watch "Dreams with Sharp Teeth" and you'll see he is very passionate about it.
and hey, he has a winning track record in court- he got credit for "Terminator" and "Soldier".

I am curious just how closely "In Time" parallels his story.

I'm not saying he isnt justified, most (75-85%) of the time he has a good case. I just laugh because no one is safe from him. But good for him for protecting his stuff and giving a big old middle finger to Hollywood.
