BTW, if you're thinking of doing the Japanese series, only one, IMO, is ball bustingly excellent.

I'll review Headmasters if you want (Have them on DVD, so should be a bit quicker) when Meta is finished with The Rebirth.

The real question though, subbed or dubbed for added hilarity!

Both sub and dub are quite poor. There's rarely been a good fandub of Headmasters.

That's funny. I had no trouble sitting through the bad dubs of Headmasters and Masterforce, but Victory was boring me to tears. It was the only one of the 3 I couldn't finish.

You're saying the official subs are no good?

They're translated well but the audio still leaves much to be desired.

The music is generic and lacking in energy while the voices are indistinctive, don't match the characters and don't retain any of the character's speech quirks.

Now I can enjoy listening to Japanese shows subtitled despite not being able to understand the language and indeed there are some shows I would rather listen to in Japanese because the audio is vastly superior to the English dub. But Transformers is not one of them. I would rather watch Headmasters with the music and voices from Rebirth (which of course is impossible but I like to dream).

I have no idea what speech quirks the characters had in Japan before Headmasters so it doesn't bother me. I'm just happy that the subs are good.

I would love to have a completely redubbed version with as many of the original voice actors as possible.

Instead of the Fallen as his avatar and sig, he should have Animated Ramjet.
