I'm currently making my own take on a classics alpha trion and I need some help figuring out a good base head to use. it needs to be voyager size and bear a close resemblance with little modding. i havent become good with modding heads yet any ideas would be helpful -mark

That might be tough, he is very distinctive. I take it you're going for the botcon vector prime look.

Well, Broken Arrow Toys (formerly Alyosha's customs) actually sells a cast of the Botcon Alpha Trion head for $12.00, if you're interested:

    http://www.brokenarrowtoys.com/cart/index.php?act=viewProd&productId=112

I know a few folks have had negative experiences with this store as far as communication and shipping speed, but I've bought many things from them (cast Alternator heads, repro weapons, repro parts, etc.) and have always been pretty pleased with the experience.

One note, from experience: their items tend to go in and out of stock very quickly; they generally do small runs, and they're really more a G.I. Joe site so Transformers take a back seat. So if you see something you want and it is in stock, best to just order it on the spot. Otherwise it might sell out and not show up again for months.

    Good luck!
