I'm new to Animated and I was wondering what would be the best version of each main Autobot (Prime, Bulkhead, Ratchet, Prowl, and Bumblebee) to get to form the most in scale lineup? I don't have a problem owning multiple versions of one character.

Sorry if there has been a similar topic like this, but I've used the search feature and haven't found anything.

I would go Prime Voyager,Prowl,Bumblebee and Ratchet Deluxe and Bulkhead Leader.
    This is just my opinion.

Voyager Bulkhead, Activators Prime & Ratchet, Legends Bumblebee & Prowl If you want an in scale group. It's still not perfect, but best for scale.

This one sounds pretty good. These are the ones I'll be displaying side by side and the out of scale ones I have will be separate.

The ones I have already are Activators and deluxe Ratchet, Activators and deluxe size two-pack Prime, Activators and deluxe Bumblebee, and deluxe prowl. I need to get Legends Prowl and Voyager Bulkhead.

Since the Deluxes, Voyagers & Leaders are already in good scale, I'll avoid listing them out separately. The only variations I would suggest are Leader Bulkhead instead of the Voyager version, Voyager Prime instead of the Deluxe version, and wait for the new Hydrodive version of Bumblebee since he's bigger and supposedly more articulated than the (crappy) Activator version and smaller than his slightly oversized Deluxe version. But if you have to choose between the Activator & Deluxe, get the Deluxe. It's a little bigger than it should be, but it's a great figure.

Personally I like Activators Ratchet, Optimus, Voy Bulky and Legends bee/Prowl because they fit better when in display with the "ginormous" Decepticons.
