I got into seeing this series again (mostly because of a pm chat between me and another member) and forgot how awesome this show is. The animation is mediocre at best, but the writting and action is great. It´s a mature show that manages to be dark withouth being over the top violent. The series mirrors WWII, down to the fall of the Homeworlds, Phaeton, The Resistance and other such events and characters. The series traches a lot about the morals of wars, racism, prejudice and such things witohu shoving it down people´s throats.

The highlight of the show is the episode called "The Price of Courage" IMO. It´s proably one of the best episodes in the show.

The characters, even the villains are all well written and often give enough spotlight. Overall a great show that never gets old. Anyone who never saw it, should give it a chance.
