I love how the Titanium series is spanning many different TF series, like G1, Beast Wars, Alternators... a great idea, and very well executed so far.

After seeing these figures, anyone who things Hasbro doesn't listen to the fans is an idiot.

SCFs/HOCs was great in that it was a chance to own anime accurate renditions of fave characters at a scale and price point that suitable for novelty items.

i see these guys as filling in that void, and with the success of the SW titaniums, i'm not surprised hasbro has pursued this direction.

I think they look kind of bad. I guess I'm in the minority.

Then count me in there with you too. Starscream on the pile of whipped cream is ridiculous, and I am pissed that they used the Alt Jazz instead of the obvious and correct choice of his G1 form.

I wanted this line of 3" figures to be show-accurate representations of G1 characters, because we know that there were some obvious aesthetic differences between the toys and the cartoon (G1 Megatron, for a great example), but instead we get some random PVCs. Sticking with the 6" transformable and ON THEME line, thanks.

Yeah, I noticed that - I thought Reprolabels did a great job on those.

As for the line... well, not for me really. I can see the point, and its great to see Don's work recreated in 3D, but apart from the Thundercracker toy, I'm gonna pass.

Probably get the 6 inch ones. The lost art is returning.

Though iffy still on these little guys I dig them thought. I can tell it's supposed to be Screamer taking off or atleast in mid air type look.

You're not....they dont move me either. I'll just wait for the 6" transforming ones and hope for the best

Its called "milking a gimmick". Hasbro, I assume, believes that what's worked pretty well for SW can also work for TFs.

It could also be called smart business. It's worth a shot if you think about it. SW stuff flies off the shelves. Regular figures and the Titaniums as well. And without a specific line to tie this to they can stick with fan-favorite characters that should all sell pretty well.
