Topspin- For AUTOBOT TOPSPIN it's all about going fast and carrying lots of weapons. He, ROADBUSTER, and LEADFOOT were master technicians on CYBERTRON. Over the years they perfected modifications on vehicles, armor, and weaponry that rival anything the DECEPTICON scientists could ever hope to produce.

Roadbuster- ROADBUSTER might be a little rough around the edges, but he's got it where it counts. For as long as any of them can remember, he and his partners have specialized in traveling the galaxy, kicking DECEPTICON tailpipe and taking names. To them, Earth is just another battleground.

Jolt- JOLT does not know the meaning of the word "calm." His body pulses with more energy than an Energon reactor in a Cybertronian summer. The high-ranking AUTOBOTS have attempted to teach JOLT patience and restraint, but he has yet to learn. Loyal to the end, JOLT fights on the front line of any skirmish with the DECEPTICONS.

Starscream- Though he is an incredibly skilled fighter, the real secret to success for STARSCREAM is to never fight fair. He's always sure to bring a bigger, more powerful weapon to battle than his opponent, and he never takes on someone he's not sure he can handle

So the US versions of Starscream and Ratchet will be in robot mode? Huh.

Starscream is the only one of these that I definitely want.

Jolt sounds like a hyper berzerker on the battlefield. That just makes me love him all the more. So sad he's not in the film. I would just love to see him slice and dice a decepticon to pieces. I'll still pick him up though.

Human Alliance JOLT Hasbro!!!!!! You know you can do it!!!

I lol'd at the description of Jolt as a frontline fighter when in the movie he's constantly in the background.

Guess it must be due to what works for the different markets... I'm assuming TakaraTomy want to ship the toys traditionally in vehicle mode (and the illustration shows the bot mode), but Hasbro must feel being packaged in robot mode makes them more attractive in the US.

Seems a curious choice on Hasbro's part tho (given that there is a robot mode image on the box), but then the Generations & RTS lines haven't even been consistent among themselves on which mode gets displayed, IIRC. So perhaps there's no real logic to in which mode the toys ship...

Extra packaging styles to hunt down for the collectors tho, I suppose, so they'll be happy :)

Is that the text Chinese or Japanese?

(I suppose if it were Japanese they would replace the Hasbro logos with TakaraTomy ones, as they do on the Japanese-exclusive movie toys).

Gotta get Screamer. The rest are wait-and-sees for me, but I'm leaning towards getting Jolt and none of the others. If we get a Deluxe Leadfoot I'll probably end up getting the whole trio (ATTN: Hasbro, make one more figure, sell three more).

I don't know if I should buy the Nascars before I see the movie. I wan't to know if I'll like em, or if they'll be dumb as hell...I bought Skids from ROTF before I saw the movie and ended up taking him back...did that with a lot of TF figures. I really want to buy SOME of these DOTM figures right now though. I know I wont be buying a ton from this movie line.

    Enough with the waiting!

I'm just wondering if the Target sponsored car will actually be available at Walmart or will it be an exclusive. Kind of weird either way.
