Just got back from edinburgh and it seems my girlfriend forgot to tell me her laptop anti virus had expired and while using her laptop to upload pics it stated a virus was present but as the program is expired it wont clear it.

Any suggestions for a quality yet free anti virus? Thanks.

Ad-aware and AVG Free. And Malwarebytes' Anti-malware is good.

Updated a few minutes ago and it worked perfectly for me.
