”Walking Dead” star Scott Wilson dead at 76

 

I’m absolutely devastated to hear about Scott. He brought a warmth and love to The Walking Dead that was permanently lost upon his character’s death. Hell, Hershel was slated to be killed off as early as Season Two and then was gonna be killed in Three, but a major reason he was around until Four was because the showrunners loved him Scott much. Out of all the characters they’ve killed, TV Hershel is one of the few that Kirkman expressed vocal lament and grief over because of Scott.

Hershel was absolutely one of my TV dads and my definitive TV grandpa. I’m just... shit, this sucks. So, so badly. I had dearly hoped that I’d be able to meet him some day. I’m definitely having spaghetti this Wednesday.

 

Damn. Was one of my favorite characters when I was watching the show. Seemed like a good man IRL too.
