...Have you actually seen Human Alliance Jazz? Cause it literally does look like a scaled-down Human Alliance Jazz. Take a another look dude and see.

It's because you haven't ever read about the "Masterpiece" narrative here...

So a fraction of the figure is somewhat similar...

Alright alright, it doesn’t look as much like it as I remember. But, saying it looks nothing like it is still incorrect.

Well, yeah, they are both based on the same character.

But the shoulders/upper arms and the flipping grille (which isn't rotated on the stock photo above) are the only shared aspects beyond "Movie Jazz." Oh, and the doors are the arms on both as well, but the HA folds them up. And honestly, the SS looks way more proportional. I do like all the chest crumpling and more gunmetal silver of the HA.

I don't like the nubby feet on SS Jazz, but still like the figure anyway.

Well, it's a crappy picture from above so it's hard to say but from what I can see:
the chest is too wide, the backpack is ridiculous, the head and the arms+shoulders look less accurate than ever, and they're still using that detail-obscuring black plastic for some reason.

Yeah it's overall better, but this would be impressive if say it was released in the ROTF line. It's been over 10 YEARS since the deluxe jazz toy was designed. Just saying.

Your comments on the chest and his head are wrong. The chest is as wide as his CGI model and his head is more accurate.

It's not like they've been pumping out Jazz figures for the last 10 years. This comment would be more applicable for Bumblebee or Ironhide, but for Jazz? He's only had two figures: the Deluxe and the HA. Either way, it's still an improvement over the older Deluxe. What more did you want?

I mean, I do want to see the perfect movie Jazz one day as well, but I can't expect to see that out of a Deluxe.

These are new photos of Jazz - SS09:bay
The size of the Jazz is quite small but very well proportioned by the Deluxe for scale. I was surprised with the tiny baby car in my hand.
Face details similar to the face of the Human Alliance Jazz, eyeglasses do not remove the card or hide as HA I think because of the problem of too small size
Yuo can see the heel of the outer parts helps keep the Jazz upright without falling behind because of the weight of the car's roof folded back. But I think when it comes to shaping, maybe "he" can stand up straight and not fall down ;)

When it can not fold like the back of Deluxe Bumblebee the roof and headlights section is completely transparent plastic part of light blue   But it's still pretty cool because it's going to take away a lot of grooves when it turn into cars

You will still have a new Deluxe Jazz model and better than the old version so much because it is the newest one :rock

Can you give us some size comparisons? Also, how does the weapon integrate into vehicle mode? I haven't seen any pictures of the weapon being stored randomly on the car so I'm curious if it is part of it or (as I suspect) it just isn't being photographed with the vehicle mode.

Looks fantastic! The backpack is barely noticeable from the front, it seems. The sculpted detail is great, he looks really poseable, and I'm glad they didn't cut the silver paint (gives me hope for a future Sideswipe).

I can't wait to get this guy.

You should have posted this in the other Jazz thread instead of making an entire new thread. Thanks for the pictures though!

I feel like the backpack will be one of those things that'll look better when you have him in hand. Either way, this Deluxe looks far better than the old one.

I don't suppose he separates into two pieces right around the torso area does he? I have a movie scene to reenact...

    *War noises in the background*

I don't want to start anything but I remember reading somewhere that the whole completely silver alt mode caused some controversy right? Again, just curious

Thanks for the new pictures. Jazz looks a little bit better than it did in the initial blurry pictures, and it seems like the possability of the new Jazz is very good.

To be fair, movie Jazz has only get 2-3 toys in the last 10 years (the original 2007 Deluxe, 2007 Legion, and HA). While characters like Bumblebee and Optimus gets at least one new mold in each toyline (Which allows the designers to creates better and improved molds), Jazz only has a few toy which probably means that the designers need to work from scratch.
