These look like oversized Movie Legends toys.
I can imagine small children going crazy about these, though.

I'm more worry about the clear partners. Hope they are not cracking up after a few months.

keep in mind the the other power cores figs can combine with the limbs of the "teams" sets thats the gimmick for this line.

I don't know they look like the connection tabs for adding the limbs

pass on all. The body guy of the combiner looks like crap in bot mode. But I guess it's better than not have bot modes at all (ala the limb bots).

the combining feature has clearly compromised the figure it self

which was the flaw with . . . armada-era figures

when you get obsessed with gimmicks, you get crappier figures

Silverbolt/Onslaught/Powerglide all should have been better at that price point, but instead we got sound effects rather than better transformations

it's why Animated rocks. Less focus on gimmicks, more focus on clean designs and execution

for some reason these pics are getting me more interested, I wasn't thinking highly of them originally. weird

also, no one ever wants to fold up the flap of devastator's torso fig when in robot mode, it looks like it should fold up to allow leg movement; and fold down to fill in the chest in torso mode

Smolder's decent enough, and Searchlight looks way better here then @ Toyfair.
Both would be 10x better as deluxes though.

and, sigh, the "teams" are just soooooooo bad. Just totally hamstrung by the size.

watch as the Combaticons form the "tiny terror" ~ almost 5 inches of "fierce".

Someday we'll get a combiner with an ultra/voyager body and dedicated deluxe limbs. someday... i can dream...
