I never really looked into this figure before and I always thought it was a Voyager class, but I still kinda like it.

    Shorter than Cyclonus? Wow.
I was really looking forward to this figure, but not so much now. Underwhelming transformation (Thunderwing, lay down. Now you're a jet), lacking paint aps and size all kind of turn me away from it.
Sad, because with the history of the character, this could have been a real winner.

    huh

the robot looks mostly awesome...the alt mode...not soo good...

definitely will pick him up...if he ever shows up around here...sea attack ravage and jetblade along with the rest of shelf warming wave 1 still dominate all the stores around here so probably will be getting him online like all the other TF's i have collected from the 2010 line so far.

It would also have been nice to see him designed more to his Mega Pretenders origins - the cockpit and nosecone form a pretty big piece of kibble on his back, this should have been designed as a smaller, detachable jet with its own robot mode, rather like a minicon.

Thigh tubes! That easily cancels out the simplistic transformation for me, but then I'm mad. Woo, Thunderwing shall be mine!

The jet is detachable and it was supposed to transform but that put the parts count too high and they couldnt do it in the budget

On another note i wanna see this guy repainted into jhaxius so bad

Looks nice. I like how the wings change shape from jet to robot.

It also looks like the torso was designed intentionally large, possibly to accomodate the smaller bot.

By making the wrong compromises, they defeat the whole point of doing the figure. I would've sooner they kept the drone's transformation and left out the weapons instead.

You can see the pin for a hinge at the top of the chest... is there an inner compartment?

It's Classics 2.0's Silverbolt all over again...

He should have been atleast a Voyager but it's a bit late for that. But it's not like I'm not gonna buy him... :lol

A bit short, and I want to see the removeable drone up front. Still, it's a new TUNDERWING, I can't really complain about that.

Most Deluxes are. Cyclonus is quite tall for a Deluxe.

The jet mode and under-kibble are pretty tragic, but the 'bot mode is such a Great interpretation of the character I can let it go this time.

Still will never understand why Laser Prime and him weren't done as voyagers instead though, man they could have owned at a slightly larger scale.

Can't wait for this one. Awesome looking toy. I personally don't mind that the drone doesn't transform, I'd rather have the guns.

Yeah, I was thinking as that as well, Thunderwing's pretty tall. Though what is a normal height for a Deluxe these days? Height is a lot more variable than it used to be, or so it seems. Guess that's a testament to how much better the engineering is on these new toys. And I'm not just saying that because I've been playing with Terradive all morning.

Whoever designed that toy should fired/shot. How can we get something as awesome as Terradive engineering-wise and then get this?
