This figure is a complete victory in my books. Head needs a faceplate, styrene to the rescue. Some paint apps.....

Gimme a 3p better face, a 3p metal sword, a takara paint treatment and it's mine  

 

I kinda hate it. It looks like Prime Optimus has sex with Cybertron Optimus and 9 months later this abomination got shat out.

Thanks for the pics! I think he looks great, but like most I'm not turned on by his new face. Speaking of; any chance we can get a few close-ups of his face? I can't really make it out too well based on the distance from the camera.

 

It looks neat, but it doesn't feel like Optimus Prime to me. He's giving me a Nova Prime vibe with the wings though.

 

Am I the only that see there an awesome Galvatron ?  

 

Y'know, give him a coat of paint, and take off the wings and the star sabre, and this looks like it could pass off as a Prime Motormaster

 

I still wish that the green parts were blue, or at least that the side windows were the same color as the front windows, but these pictures look much better than the BBTS images last month.

Looking forward to losing $20 on this guy.

Robot mode does look kind of cool, but the truck mode just doesn't work for me.

I believe that he does. It's just a really odd looking mouthplate.

 

I'll say that it looks better than it did before, but I'm still not really digging it. All that green is just ugh (regardless of what happens to him, the sword is not supposed to be green)

Also, where's his faceplate? He looks even goofier without it here than his old face did. Optimus toys should always have it, whether they give an option to hide/remove it is the question, but it should always be there to begin with...

 

...Weird. What's up with that face?

Wow that looks significantly better than the last set of pics I saw.

It's really pretty cool looking, but I just don't need another Optimus. Hope it gets a good Remold/Repaint maybe.

Still passing on this guy (don't really need another Prime Prime), but he does look a lot better in these photos. If he gets a good repaint (ideally as a different character) I might spring for that.

 

he looks awesome! but why is his so weird looking? and is that a green star saber or just a sword? either WANT IT!

 

I like the shade of the red and blue, not too crazy about the green, but overall he looks pretty cool and much better than the previous pics that were released of him. Plus he gets an oversized sword which PRID Prime was sadly lacking. Hasbro is doing so much better on weapons lately with FoC wave 3 and the BH releases. I'm keeping my pre-order.
